The thing is that MS employees might not necessary know what’s gonna be on the showcase. It is not like Microsoft send the list or gives early access to their employees to the showcase.
But Microsoft should know that people expect Avowed, if it does not happen, people will riot. Though some people expected FM2022 so it might dissappoint people anyway.

IMO, not having Avowed and FM2023 will sour the impression for the bunch of people. Microsoft should be ready with some other megaton announcements on the showcase.

The way the linkedin post is worded is kind of ambiguous, I dont blame people for not trusting insiders but at this point, people should be going in not expecting it to avoid disappointment, it’s what im doing

The deal might have been done years ago. These games cant magiclaly appear on xbox. They have to be developed ported and put on there after a certain amount of time. Same thing happened with yakuza.
Jim ryan told us FF was on lockdown for PS. So i dont expect any new FF games including remakes.

Any normal third party publisher would be scratching their heads over that, but it is Square Enix. They make the games for publishers.
