Reading through this Thread really makes me wish Henderson would have just shut the fuck up and not talk about this stuff less than 24 hours before the show!

Eh, I dunno. Starfield on its own will be huge to see revealed. Plus, they gotta save stuff for TGA’s or whatnot. Disappointing, sure, but not a huge deal imho.
I don’t think there’s an issue with dev or anything, just that MS has to choose what to show and they are juggling so many projects there’s a lot of ways to land on a show without it. In some ways I am more interested in new stuff being announced so stuff being moved out of this showcase could be a good thing.
Btw, Tom just said he heard another company will at the showcase showing more games than Bethesda. Maybe Ubisoft?

Ok so basically so far he said
- no Avowed on the show
- Kojima will announce partnership with Microsoft, but not the game
- no major 2022 releases
- no EA games
- Starfield is around 20m there
- implied P5R coming to PC

It does not matter. Because each of the camps will push their game as something that is really a big and important project.
Sony fans will literally say this is some cloudy little shit and DS 2 is going to be a huge game.
I can deal with no huge games in 2022 (I’ve surprisingly got enough to play) but not seeing Avowed would hurt.
My guess is they need the RPG element to be Starfield even though the games are a different setting it’s still the same audience.
Plus I think Avowed is November 2023.

I adore DS but if Kojima really is making a horror game for xbox, then I take it over a DS sequel no question
Honestly it makes zero sense to stack Avowed and Starfield on top of one another. Especially when we just sawwhat stacking everything into the back half of 2021 caused when 2022 stuff slipped. If Avowed got pushed to the back half of 2023 it makes sense to just hold on to a demo until next Showcase. Doesn’t suck the biggest glizzy available? Absolutely but it makes sense.
