This whole logic is pretty baseless considering we’ve seen five months this year of Xbox constantly selling out. Game Pass is still getting plenty of content of varying As. People are being dramatic whilst ignoring the continued impact of a pandemic, which also affected the direct competition for pockets of several months. Everything is going to be fine because as data shows us constantly, exclusives (especially first-party exclusives) aren’t the be all end all driver for adoption.
That’s not defense forcing, that’s simply wishing people would have some situational awareness. The majority of large titles have been delayed at least once over the last two years.

About the showcase if we get a kickass 1st party showing, an Elden Ring expansion announcement and Dragon’s Dogma 2’s announcement it’s gonna be fuckin’ awesome!

Yeah for sure considering the success and positive word of mouth surrounding the game…it also makes sense to be in the (by far) biggest show of whatever “E3” we are right now. 
Xbox buys KojiPro, and then at the end of the show Phil says “One last thing”

He didn’t know about Spider-Man Miles Morales coming to PC, he doesn’t have access to the PS Blog or official PR He did know that The Walking Dead is coming to PSVR in 2022 while the PSVR2 is currently in development, something not mentioned in the trailer but is nearly word for word with the trailer description, meaning he didn’t just have a one off access to the State of Play stream He knew the trailer length of the FFXVI trailer, as evident by a reply before the stream
