If FM is a 2023 game I don’t think we should consider that a Turn 10 problem. They finally got the gift of time after having to be a FM factory for years. It ain’t there fault that the games slates for 2022 didn’t make it.

Wouldn’t say it’s their fault but it’s not a good thing that 343, Rare, T10, Undead etc are taking 6+ years to release a game.

Hope to see more Playground like un the near future, we’ll see Avowed’s date, but Obsidian looks like a good candidate

Most AAA games nowadays are taking 5-6 years to be developed and pandemic pushed back games to 1-1.5 years, Gow Ragnarok which is an iterative sequel was meant to be out last year on the teaser, Forza Horizon 5 was likely affected as it came three years later instead of the traditional one every two years.

Forza Motorsport for all we known and seen, seems to be built from the ground up with a new engine.

People forget that 343, Undead Labs and T10 were all either creating entirely new engines and/or heavily revamping old ones. They were all given the luxury of time and then Covid kind of ruined a lot of plans on top of that.
