I was scared for a second during that initial Starfield gunplay. The back half of the demo put my mind at ease. Overall It was a decent enough showing. Definitely wasn’t the E3 of Dreams I was hyping myself for after the 2021 show. A better arrangement of content would have helped the lull that started after the Riot Games section.

My biggest disappointment is that nothing dropped my jaw visually. FH5 and Stalker made me say holy shit. This year nothing really grabbed me like that. Was expecting more due to these games being next gen exclusive.

Can’t even fight back lmfao.

It’s a wrap.

tell them " next E3 , I promise "

Probably cuz they were hoping to see some games they’d be playing on Playstation lol

From what I’m seeing, people thought it was pretty good. 8-7/10 mainly.

Yeah, a few things were missing, like an update on Halo Infinite, Gears Collection was a lie ? FF VII Remake the dream is dead… Avowed, Perfect Dark, where are they ? An update on Fable ? But overall it was a great show with a lot of smaller but promising GP day one games that should keep us busy in the meantime.

Really, Starfield and Forza stole the show for me. I can’t wait to see more.

And I’m so pleased for Overwatch 2 F2P coming in fall and showing Diablo IV gameplay on XSX was awesome and reassuring about finalizing the deal with ABK.

8/10. Glad for Persona finally coming to Xbox !

Ever since the Sony 2015 conference with Shenmue 3, F7Remake and The Last Guardian the expectations for conferences have been insane. Obviously in hindsight that conference didn’t age very well but in the moment nothing could match the hype it received at that time. I’ve been jaded for years so these conferences haven’t done anything for me in years.

Agreed there, MS couldn’t do anything else to focus on Gamepass and on raising subs on this show.

I don’t like the way the show went, but i can totally understand that the more casual players, the ones watching streamers etc, that don’t know who inXile is, or which game is Avowed, will be very happy with what they can play on GP soon

Ok, first of all I advise everyone to watch everything again on YT in 4K, it will make a big difference in your impression about the games.

Second, I thought the show wasn’t the best. If I had to describe it, it would be inconsistent, last year’s was better put together and paced. I think it gets a B for me. Just one more major thing, Avowed for example, would have elevated this show.

Announcing Kojima is huge, Team Ninja game on GP too, Persona on Xbox and GP, I thought were great announcements.

Lots of cool smaller games, COCOON specifically looks amazing.

Redfall looks great but still not convinced it will be for me. Forza Motorsport looked incredible but bummer it’s not 2022. Pentiment, unfortunately, does not look like my type of game, I wished for something like Disco Elysium with VA, oh well. Overall, XGS’s presence I think was kinda mute.

Starfield, just give me that asap please.

Me explaining that “it was really just the games for the next 12 months in the calendar”

The Xbox conference was nothing special BUT the Xbox brand is more exciting than its ever been, so many great games in development and coming to the platform.

I am glad I don’t have console warrior friends, lol. Our sh*t talking is limited to sports lol

Thiiiiis. Even FH5 and Stalker didn’t blow me away that much, to be honest. Still waiting for a game that surpasses the Matrix playable demo, that draws a clear, bold line between last gen and current gen. Everything today looked like it would comfortably run at a lower resolution and framerate on previous gen consoles.

Having said that! It’s also very frustrating how long games take to develop these days, and expectations of revolutionary visuals are a major contributing factor to that, so I’m a big ol’ hypocrite.

Best part of this show is games that you can play 12 months from now and all on game pass.

This tees up an annual show nicely as opposed to showing games that are a few years down the road.

Problem with only having one big show in the year, gotta be aiming for 9s and 10s, the 12 month restriction completely hamstrung them on what they could show

Anyway, hoping we get some Starfield modding talk at the extended show
