Yeah there’s no point in continuing this indie versus AAA topic…it’s being discussed to death and it’s off topic.
Anyway I can’t wait to see Sawyer’s new game. 
Whell sometimes it indeed looks dismissive.
Though I often see that each time person says that he wants some big AAA games people immediately start to say about playing something else or trying to prove that some smaller game is AAA. Or it turns into a discussion regarding what defines AAA.
So you are trying to define Halo as “realistic” looking dudebros shooty shooting baddies

I’m done. Bad faith arguments and thick headedness prevail. I’ll go back to playing awesome games and looking forward to what’s coming - big and small. I’m dipping out of the forum for a while. Later and enjoy ya’ll.

The reason it happens because in each topic there might appear a message like “I expect AAA game from XXX (show, studio, developer) in Game Pass” and it initiates the discussion about what defines AAA.
Sure… maybe I’m slightly more laid-back about what people discuss than most. lol

If this is so annoying you all should clearly define what AAA really means. And yet …

But that’s the thing - people define them differently. For some people Sniper Elite is AAA, for some people it is not. For some people game is indie, for some AAA and so on. Then we have other cases regarding enjoyment and so on.
I think people that have very specific criteria for what games “count” (i.e. Budget, country of origin, camera) should learn from @peter42O and sub and unsub when a game they want hits.

One week until gamefest
Not sure if discussed here but it was confirmed Xbox would be at that show as well.
Wonder if it will be one of those sneak previews then tune in Sunday kinda deals
Or take the lazier (easier) way out and sub until 2025 using deals and steals…

it can go both ways. Some trailer to see more later or some content that was moved to free space in the main show.
It is already more work that just paying monthly like I do despite not playing anything aside Forza from time to time.

Sniper elite 5 Is a triple AAA, i suppose. But i love the franchise. The first titles were not triple AAA.
You have to help me here. Why is Sniper Elite 5 AAA, but Sniper Elite 4 is not? Whats the source for this?
I repeat: there are many good indie or AA games.and i played a lot of them: greedfall, Vampyr, Wasteland3, Plague of tale innocence (it’s not a triple AAA), Iron harvest, for example and i love them, really. The classification Is determinated by the production’s value and It doesn’t mean that these money will make a better game and i agree with you on this. For example, i found Halo infinite not so good for me but i really liked Wasteland3 and Plague of Tale. These are preferences but a triple AAA game is generally better than a indie or AA because you can invest more money in every segments from graphic to sound.
We should all be hoping that fun games come to Gamepass. The size of the game really shouldn’t matter if it’s fun.
