I agree, diversity has been the key for a number of years when they didnât have any of the big games ready to be shown off. If what Jez said is true and almost very studio submitted something to present at the show. Then now is not the time to be spending large portions of the show on indie projects. Now is the time to show the gaming world this is why you need an Xbox, because we have incredible games coming soon from our studios that can be just as good as PlayStations.
A. Jez didnât say that Rand did, and it wasnât something he could confirm.
B. Nor did he say every studio had something to present at the show. He said he heard that every studio turned something in. This doesnât mean that theyâve all made cgi or gameplay trailers. It could just be a title screen or some artwork, etc.
C. Allegedly the same happend last year and that also didnât result in every studio has a game ready to be shown.

They can do all that at the same show. Itâs really not either or. Mind you, I do expect this year to have less smaller stuff and more big stuff, by percentage and overall number. But you still gotta have smaller stuff, even if you donât like them they do balance the show and its pacing.

Listening to the Era Podcast over the weekend And the guest dude on there was saying he doesnât expect this years conference to be as good as last years? I hope heâs wrong. Lasts years wasnât even that good. A lot of their bigger games had minor teasers. They should have proper trailers now. Like we saw nothing of avowed bar some concept trailer if I recall.

MVG seemed to confuse his opinions and taste with objective reality. As evident when he ignores Forza Motorsport, and saying no one plays State of Decay. I donât know why itâs hard for some people to state their opinions without dismissal and general, presumptive judgement.

Oh ok makes sense. I was wondering why he was being so pessimistic about it.
Making strong declarative statements, even if they are off base, brings in the views and increases the conversation about that person, itâs very effective.

I dunno much about MVG but there is also an MBG who is a Sony fan boy if thatâs who you are thinking of
MVG is cool and he makes great content that I appreciate. I donât believe he has anything against Xbox other than the DRM policies, Xbox is a part of his history and content, and he even says he believes Xbox have had the best developer tools. However, Xbox might not align with his game genres and preference and thatâs fine but his stance on the show and on the Spawn Cast episode were very off base and itâs worse that he stood by them in the episode with Nick.
