Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase announced for Sunday June 12 at 10 a.m. PT + Xbox Games Showcase Extended on June 14th at 10am PT (Spoiler Free)

Most people assumed they meant The Game Awards, but clearly that didn’t happen. My guess is that plans simply changed.

Now comes the best part with insiders telling us to get hyped or not every weeks

Hopefully not lol. Last year was a bit too much for me.

At least, Starfield will be there, that’s already more than enough for me.

I do think some people are probably expecting games that won’t be there so there’ll be disappointment for sure, as long as people can handle it and not be weird about it then get excited YO.

That’s a bit of a shame if others heading there are related to this because it means there will be leaks and clickbait videos and headlines from then until E3.

Highly doubt it. Unlike their usual leaks etc, this will be done on a NDA basis and I doubt any of them will risk being blacklisted by Xbox for future events etc.

Yeah, we know there will be NDAs but I dont trust most content creators to know better or actually stick to it for longer than a week. At the best case, they wont spill anything but will still use clickbait headlines for the month leading up to E3.

They can just talk to another person that can leak it, then make content about it after the leak is out there.

And say what? You literally cannot talk about anything you have seen, heck you usually cannot even say you had played or seen a certain game. It is why you see content creators actively avoid certain topics at times like our resident Sikamikanico.

I’m going to be honest, I really don’t care if something leaks or not. I’m just excited anyway.

Most of it will leak anyway at the latest when they record the show, so who cares. Just knowing about some games being there means nothing to me, the exciting thing is seeing them.

We just have to agree at some point what is considered a spoiler for people who don’t want to know and make separate Spoiler Thread.

I hate leaks like the last minute Starfield leak from last year, where we knew the date etc., but I’m mostly okay with leaks just saying X game is going to be there.

As much as they can be a bummer, I appreciate the leaks saying which games won’t be there, as it saves me the heartbreak during the event. But like, Jez or Jeff or whoever just being like, “Yeah, Avowed will be there” (hypothetical, neither has said that) doesn’t ruin much for me.

I mean that’s always been a problem on forums. There are people expecting everything they could have dreamt up to be there inevitably being disappointed when something isn’t there.

You also have people setting ultimatums stating if something isn’t there Xbox failed. These are mostly in bad faith though and suspiciously always state games that are unlikely to show up as the one game that should show up ad to give themselves an avenue to post some dumb shit later.

I dont mind spoilers like list of games being shown… those typically get me to see what games im interested look like… plus most list leaks seem to be inaccurate so the joy of suprise is still there.

I remember the only reason for tuning into e3 one year was because of the rumored ki revival.

Someone will leak the contents of the press release a few days before the show as is tradition.

People are going to get weird about it and meltdown no matter what, that is a mortal lock.

They won’t talk about the things they have seen, they’ll talk about the “rumors”.

Anyway, leaks ARE going to happen, it’s inevitable.

Yeah probably being naive haha, maybe one day people won’t be weird like for sure you can be upset if something you love isn’t there but no real need to lose ya shit over it, unless they cancelled the game I guess

The only game that I would be upset if didn’t appear is Avowed, the rest is bonus.

Be advised, we can expect a lot of “leaks” with their own take to either overhype or completely sabotage. I remember how one tried to make Halo sound really bad like Cyberpunk 2077 launch bad. So take everything grain of salt.
