Xbox + Bethesda E3 2021- June 13th @ 10AM PST/1PMEST/6PMBST- Pre-E3 Discussion Thread!

How does that win E3 for Sony out of curiosity?

Anything to back this up or pure speculation?

I believe Shpeshal Ed hinted at it. May be misremembering though. But it’s not something I’m just guessing wildly.

I’ve seen him hinting at SF6 but nothing about DD2. I hope DD2 stays multiplat.

Lol it doesn’t in my opinion. But I’m assuming that’s what people will say. They will say oh halo and forza, we don’t care those don’t count. Starfield is just fallout in space so that either.

The last of us is just a boring uncharted

I hope they show halo infinite in its best light, hopefully they have some decent seriesX enhancements.

I hope we see some starfield gameplay, its certainly the game im most hyped for, Bethesda story telling and world building is some of the best in gaming.

Okay bet time:

Halo Infinite on open?

or

Does Microsoft show off a new IP on open, followed by Phil speech then Halo Infinite?

Halo Infinite will open. It’s the redemption arc. Though they may split up the multi-player reveal from the single player showcase.

Same as last year, so Halo will open and then a speach from Staten about the plans leading up to launch etc. Xbox will want to close out the show with a new IP announcement I feel, or a new reveal.

I think Halo could close if it’s lengthy

Wonder if we’ll see either of Mojang’s other projects? Didn’t they say they were working on 2 unannounced games back when they made that video about changing from ā€œMojangā€ to ā€œMojang Studiosā€

Well last year’s was pretty lengthy and I cannot imagine it being as long as that in my opinion, especially if Microsoft wants to pack the event with more announcements and other demos. I feel a longer gameplay demo also warrants a more standalone event.

I predict Xbox comes out absolutely swinging for the fences with gamepass content out the wazoo so that absolutely every gamer knows the best place to play this generation is on Xbox/PC with gamepass. Going all out, they add Ubisoft Plus including Day 1 games into their premium Gamepass Ultimate bundle for your first year of service (like how HBO/Starz was always a premium cable add on), then say by the way Ubisoft isn’t our only partner we’re bringing day 1 content for, announcing EA is bringing Battlefield VI and Fifa 22 day 1 this fall, then the but wait there’s more, we’ve been working with our partners at Techland to help fund Dying Light 2 so you can play day 1 on gamepass. Then we find out HALO, Starfield, Forza and Stalker are all hitting gamepass this fall as well. Btw there’s also Persona series and bravely series hitting gamepass along with final fantasy 1-6. Then a few more banger indie games are revealed and also coming to Gamepass.

Subscribe already yall.

I’m not one for predictions, but I wanted to say I have no doubt Halo Infinite will be shown looking much better and confirmed for a fall release.

Those hoping for a delay will be left disappointed.

Maybe it’s odd, but one of the things I’m looking forward to most about Xbox’s E3 is an announcement of new BC games. I just want more OG Xbox games is all.

I’m still holding out hope for Burnout 3.

Halo should not be the thing that closes the show

Yes! Would love Burnout 3! Unfortunately, I don’t think it’ll happen because of the music licensing.

Neither. My bet is that Halo Infinite is a no show at the Games Showcase. It has its own event the day before celebrating just Halo with a meaty slice of the campaign, a multiplayer invitational with streamers like Ninja, a look at the TV show, Chief back in Fortnite and the flighting begins two days after (i.e. day after the XGS Showcase). This is my hunch. Halo has been at 3 E3s, they have the content between Bethesda, XGS and Third Party to fill hours, Halo gets its own thing.

Now, I could be 1000% wrong, but this is my hunch.
