With the report that there will be a streaming stick, I’m curious who MS will go after next.
I also hope Activision Blizzard won’t be the reason why MS won’t go after another company for some time.
When you look at where the gaming market is right now, I feel like there is many great pick ups and I hope AB won’t be the reason MS misses out.

picking up Rocksteady so they can work on Crackdown? lol reboot or not I don’t think that’s a good idea…all due respect.
Xbox will buy companies with mega popular IP or a history of incredible creativity. They’re not buying anyone to work on Crackdown, sorry guys.
On one of the Xbox Two Podcast Jez brings up good points on why Rocksteady could be a good studio for both Microsoft and Activision even without the WB IP’s or licenses since they could help revive franchises such as Prototype, Crackdown, or anything from Activision/Blizzard’s catalogue.

I agreed they’d be a good pickup even without the IP’s but they are such a talented team I’d much prefer them to create their own thing.

I think Rocksteady could do both and one team can work on their own new IP and another team could also revive or reboot a franchise such as Prototype or Crackdown. Similar to how Crystal Dynamics has one team on Perfect Dark and another on Tomb Raider.
Man I hope the Activision thing won’t be what stops them from getting WB

I suspect if they want something they will still go for it. I don’t think the Crystal/Eidos thing is anything to go by, if they were such a steal I’m sure T2, EA, Tencent, Sony or any of the other publishers would of grabbed them instead.

I honestly just don’t see the need for the entirety of WB.
Grab a few studios? Sure, but I don’t see the entire publisher being necessary.

I do wonder how long the company stocks are gonna fell…T2 might reach lower than 10b soon. And technically it can be even worse by the end of the year.
I do wonder at what level ABK would be by now without MS acquisition.
Crazy how Netflfix fell from almost 300b to 80b 
For a lot of companies it might a time to buy buy buy if it is available and they have cash at hand.

In pretty sure it doesn’t work like that. GTA alone is an asset that generates +5 $B
I agree, but still market cap means that the final price will be lower than for example if the market cap is 20b.
Damn I knew Netflix was taking a hit but didn’t realise it was 76B bad.
Next thing we know Microsoft will buy them too .
Not stock advice at all but I just buy blue chip companies and index funds.
I have some in Apple and Microsoft.
