No more strategy focused devs/publishers plz
They just bought Blizzard and have a bunch of their own in development, they need other things to appeal to everyone in game pass, not just pc users

I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony at least entertains the idea of getting Atlus from SEGA.

I doubt anyone would want to buy all of Sega Sammy. If MS does acquire Sega one day it’s because Sega Sammy sold just the video game division.

Bungie just went for 3.6 and they own 1 IP, a big IP but still just 1 IP
Sega own many studios and tons of IP many of which are iconic, that combined with how compeitive the market is, 7B is the absolute minimum
Sony dont seem like a likely buyer for Sega anyway

outside of Sonic IP, they don’t have that big of IPs
If Sony’s looking at a content war for Spartacus (if it ever ends up being a GP competitor) I’d argue SEGA is one of your best potential back catalog fillers.
The biggest issue would be Relic and Creative Assembly and how PlayStation would work with them.

yeah this what i’m talking about pretty much half of Sega revenue from PC side/ Europe side.
sony will have to change it’s PC vision first

The issue with your statement is Xbox isn’t just selling consoles. Their focus is a service.
Obviously they’d prefer you to buy an Xbox, but a PC, phone, or competing platform would work too.
In terms of big IPs, Sega would be probably above Paradox/focus/team17…etc and below other publishers.
In terms of diversity content though they are high in the list.
what MS needs from publishers Big IPs or Diversity content ?

It’s kinda both.
Although after ABK, I think their future “bigger purchases” might be quite a bit smaller for a myriad of reasons.
Edit; Then again, Phil and Satya might buy the world!
See, I’m looking at it as a “Death of a Thousand Cuts” sort of view. More recognizable content being added on top of what’s already there will continue to draw more eyes.
