I’m always kind of torn with Bungie. As I’m not a destiny person. They don’t make cames that really get me out of bed. they are okay it’s just not my thing but they as a company are such a part of Xbox it seems almost wrong that they aren’t in the fold.

I’d like to see Xbox acquire a few mid tier sized studios and potentially grow them out. Everyone wants publishers and large AAA studios but those take time.

Yeah Microsoft is a bigger company with more regulations tied to them as they go for much bigger targets than Tencent. Also Tencent is spending plenty of time working on this, they simply do not allow for leaks the same way Xbox has before.

The idea that Sony/Tencent just calls up a Studio’s CEO the night before an announcement with an immediate negotiation is…. well false and more than slightly comical (and I see it regurgitated a lot). These deals take months/years for any of the aforementioned companies, and while Bethesda was being finalized (prior to announcement), Sony and Bluepoint were still in discussions… think about that, and the differences in scale of cost, IP, staff, etc.
