SEGA is worth it just to watch Atlus being dragged kicking and screaming onto Xbox lol.

Like I’ve said before, a Square Enix that’s firing on all cylinders would probably be one of the best potential purchases out there from a portfolio and relations perspective.

To be fair they Dont seem to be making moves towards anybody but they do love partnering with Ubisoft for all their games because Far Cry and AC sell. Crazy thing aint it.

Surely it would make more sense for Xbox to go after Humanoid Studios?

They are literally down the road from Bioware and have most of the key staff, including Casey Hudson (KOTOR and ME 1-3).

Partnering is what they should keep doing, absolutely the right call. Acquiring spending billions on them, too risky

But what if they could get them for $5?

Ubisoft have insane production pipelines. They have IP, tech, and manpower. Some great talent. They’d absolutely be valuable to Microsoft, and arguing against this is weird.

You could argue it’s because of their image and management and stuff.

Id rather Hindle say he doesnt like Ubisoft than make random arguments as to why they shouldn’t lol.

They arent random arguements, Phil and his team would never go for Ubi.

Just wanted to blow off some steam and give my hot-take on Ubisoft…

Seems nothing is on the horizon though.

From one controversial post, right into the next one. Never change

I mean, that’s how most of the acquisitions have worked out previously.

The Xbox M&A team has been staffing up though, we know that much at the very least.

How did you know that? Like yes I know they look deep into companies before looking into and acquiring them, and Ubisoft has shady stuff going on. For that reason, I get it. But not for any other weird reason you think.

Is that a sign a fish on hook?
