I think you need to do some research there, and you will find ff14 is the number 1 mmo, so ff14 has 25 mill its not on xbox. Sea of thieves doest even appeal to me they are 2 disimiliar games. Ff14 is a true mmo thieves hsd some mmo features but no where on the level of 14. Eso, black desert, do not have the popularity of tgis game, they are lower. And now se has made 14 its number one franchise with unlimited budget.

Bungie has become greedy just as Activision, Marty tried to warn them and got fired for it, now he made a video saying that fans have to delete or destroy whatever he posted of music of Destiny because he lost a lawsuit made by Bungie over the rights. Old Bungie would never let such issues happen.

I love ESO but its nowhere near FF14 and SoT is not even an MMO.

Oh man i read this earlier on bing and wept. When i was a lttle girl my mother and i watched on our black and white tv tge beatles first appearance on ed sullivan, paul mc cartney was my favorite i lovedchis wing years some more epic songs. His song for destiny 1 was awesome to me, the whole soundtrack made destiny 1 awesome. See this move by bungie is awful, some on here thinkbungie should be a first party partner acquired , then we have se who has awesome music and treats their composers way better. They release collections, singles, place high importance on music which is an artform by itself. I stand by best acquisition is se along with asobo.

People putting ESO on the same level as FFXIV has some real “Tell me you’ve never played FFXIV without telling me you’ve never played FFXIV”.
ESO is tinker-toys compared to FFXIV.

In terms of what ? ESOs vet trial and vet dungeons are much harder than FF14.

Like FFXIV is probably top 2 MMO right now no? Even taking players away from Warcraft and millions are waiting on the newest expansion.
I dont think ESO is even top 3 lol. Guild Wars, Warcraft, FFXIV, New World (?), etc.
New World will be dead in few month if they don’t add new content, fix broken bugs and fix the broken economy.
Top 3 are WoW, FF14 and RuneScape. After that it should be ESO, New World and GW2.

Yes, Destiny is an MMO. Not a traditional game like FF14. I think it should be the second or third most popular MMO.

Depends on what content in ff14 youre comparing it to. Theres a series of 12 8 man raids every expansion that arent very hard, but they have an additional level of difficulty called “Savage” that are extremely difficult. There are also duties with the difficulty level of “Ultimate” Which are the hardest content in the game.

It’s comparable, but to this day people have problems to get personalities and polymorphs in trials because it’s too hard. Playing for no death, speedrun and trying to skip mechanics is almost impossible.
Also weaving/parsing is a pain to learn, but necessary if you want to push your DPS from 50k to 100k.
Anyways it’s off-topic so let’s move on from this topic.
I think comparing ESO and FF14 is pretty OT and is just going in circles can we get back to acquisitions?
