That 1 game has always been a massive hit and stays alive the whole generation. Also they stated they are moving to a multi project setup. They’re currently working on at least 3 projects.
Keep in mind they aren’t at the top of my list, just saying an acquisition does benefit Xbox and has payoff.
Along with Starfield, its probs the most anticipated new IP this gen
We know next to nothing about that project, not even the title. I bet that 90% of the Destiny players don’t even know about it.
We didnt know much about Starfield, but the idea of a new IP from teams like Bethesda or Bungie is always enough to create hype

Im sure it will get some “hype” off Bungie’s name but they havent been a premier “top” developer since the 360. You ask today what the best studios are And Im sure Bungie’s name wont come up. Also saying its the most anticipated new IP this gen after Starfield is just certainly a take worthy of Hindle lol.
Bungie would be an amazing acquisition. Whether you like Destiny or not, it was a massive undertaking and the raid (Vault of Glass) remains one of my favourite coop memories of last gen.
Unfortunately since they are self publishing, the content just isn’t as exciting due to how they have had to adapt the business model. They’d do much better being under XGS.
They are a top tier developer in terms of talent and would be a great addition to XGS.
Microsoft should buy Bungie and pull everyone off Halo to make Destiny 3
Xbox does not dictate or heavy hand with studios. For 343 's sake i would not want them to buy bungie.

Destiny has been one of the most successful new franchises of last gen. Played by millions, respected, yet they are not a top tier according to Javier lol.

Destiny is worth the money by itself. Really sucks that I lose it on xcloud and would love for it to come back after a purchase.

Minecraft and Roblox devs ARE top tier. You don’t pull off Minecraft and Roblox with that much of a success without being top tier.
Bungie are also top tier in some areas like FPS and gunplay, and art design.
I agree to disagree. Sometimes its better to be lucky than good.
Show me other games that manage multiplatform platforms where people create content and games and play across all devices together. Where people make a living in them. That’s not luck. Luck can propel success but it doesn’t give anyone that ability.
