Phil’s going Black Friday shopping.

He’s especially thankful for the friends he’s met along the way. Maybe even some from Japan!:joy:

I don’t they would announce anything this year. If they did get anything it would be spring or summer

Humankind and Demon Slayer sold extremely well for Sega. Both of those games debuted near the top of the charts the month they were released. The crazy thing is Demon Slayer hasnt even had a Switch release, yet it sold over 1 million in less than 2 weeks. The price for Sega is going up IMO.

If they can’t buy Sega than I hope as part of this partnership MS funds some Sega games, particularly multiple Demon Slayer games. Demon Slayer potential as an IP is big like DragonBall and Naruto. Demon Slayer on Gamepass would bring in fans of japanese games/anime that mostly play on playstation. I want to see Tanjiro become a Gamepass mascot.

Demon Slayer IP is not owned by SEGA . Its co-owned by Shueisha and Aniplex ( Sony ) .

Right. But I thought only Sega can publish Demon Slayer videogames right? Sorry if I was mistaken.

nope . Anyone can . Sega has no exclusive DS videogame rights .

Oh nevermind. I stand corrected. I though it was like Bandai Namco with Dragonball. And I just looked that up too and it says Bandai Namco doesn’t even publish all DragonBall games.

If they are interested, Microsoft needs to acquire Studio Wildcard and Asobo before Embracer embraces them.

who is funding monolith next game ? the studio has been quiet since 2017/2018.

Monolith belongs to Warner Bros Games.

Monolith is still a part of Warner Bros gaming branch and will be included in the Discovery merger.

Last we’ve heard anything about them was the Gefoce now leak where I believe their game was supposedly title “Fight for Middle-Earth” iirc.
