Perception wise now would be the absolute best time to announce acquisition with media loving playstations acquisitions.
outside of FC, Siege and AC, their other IPs are not doing so well. we will see though how will turn out they might pull W with other IPs. Avatar could be massive success, the newly announced Ghost battle royale might be W
In before “Why do you want Xbox to participate in petty console warz? Just play some games on Gamepass.”
I agree with you though.
That’s true but that’s Ubisoft. They have their 3-4 system sellers with MTX and try to add other games to make it their next system seller.
The question is if people are gonna be tired of those Ubisoft games.
Now they add F2P games to their catalogue. I think they will be fine.
I just think it would be very hard for the media to switch to a tone of acquisitive bring bad right after they repeatedly praised Sony. This would mean Xbox would be alien in a better spotlight which is good for Xbox and microsoft.
Publisher sale or…publisher for sale? Eheh
Hopefully for sale.
WB this year. Square West next year
Warner won’t happen until the Discovery deal is completed next year. That’s why I think there will be no acquisitions this year.
Hope they name it Midway Studios or something
And Square West as Eidos Studios
combine the two. “Warner Square”
Real Place in Los Angeles by the way. It’s also known as the Warner Center.
Yep, they can’t spun off more stuff before the merger is done, I read that selling the mobile studio to EA was not taken well by investors, it’s extremely shady and uncommon doing it during mergers.
Well well well, I hope you fellas behaving nicely in here. Knottian has been busy and I was pushing hard on a review that’s hitting very soon, but I’m back and keeping my eyes on you all once again .
Sony didn’t buy any IPs so I don’t see how the media could attack them? Xbox gamers were already not getting these games so we didn’t lose anything with these acquisitions. It’s hard to drum up controversy when there’s no impact, you know?
The negativity will be there for sure when they buy big multiplatform IPs and studios.
All is fine here don’t worry.
Uhhhh… no.
