I gave up on AC set in Japan 8 years ago ( gave up on the franchise too ) but with Ghost of tsushima’s success , my hopes are up again .

They have been at least talking to a bunch of devs & pubs. Nothing has materialized as far as we know but at least they are trying. It’s a Sellers market so I don’t expect MS to be snatching up Pubs/Devs left and right like that no matter if the MS war chest is open and they are all in on gaming. I think the Devs/Pubs have the leverage which is why we keep hearing reports of “talks falling through”.
What do you think guys, is there a remote possibility that the Bluepoint deal fell through, because Microsoft or someone else stepped in?
It seems pretty weird, that it’s still not made official after the banner thing.
idk but I would love for MS to buy bluepoint and make Rare remakes .
While they’d be an awesome team, I would stray closer to the “probably not” camp if Phil’s previous statement on “one platform teams” is anything to go by.
Decisions/opining can always change though, so not impossible.
