To them the day they let the public in on the deal is just another day. They’ve been working on it behind the scenes days, weeks, months, and years before.
Places usually celebrate closure dates, when the deal is sealed.

You cant be serious. This has nothing to do with software development or xbox and more to do with mergers and acquisitions.
Mojang sole contribution (aside from the money) was helping people figure out how to bring studios in? Took a 2.5B acquisition for that?
True but a pivital announcement on the scale of that one i would have thought would have garnered a tweet at least.

Clearly that’s not their sole contribution. Mojang has worked on literally all of Xbox’s initiatives, be it projects to branch out and offer new Minecraft games, to implement hollow lens tech for them etc. What aren’t they doing that you want them to do?
Personally i would like them to Make a raytracing update exclusive to the Xbox Series X and not put it on PS5, and make all future minecraft spinoffs only on Xbox/PC/Cloud/Mobile

I’m pretty sure they’re headed there. They already made windows exclusive Ray traced Minecraft and released it earlier this year.

They might be, but its mojang, so until i happens i wont really hold out hope.
I’m just saying they already completed a portion of what you said and they did it exclusivity. They’ve continued over and over again to support Microsofts initiatives so I’m not sure what the pessimism about them is.

I mean Its Mojang so Im not really sure of anything being leveraged exclusively for the xbox ecosystem unless I actually see it. Anyway all of this feels OT so lets drop it before we get warned.
Minecraft will only be exclusive to xcloud and that it outside of that don’t expect anything

Not sure how relevant this is, but roblox is now worth close to what activision / blizzard is valued and more than double what take two is
