Ooh, make it a poll with some guidelines. If we’re going with favorite studios I’m gonna say Xbox + WB.
Here’s a small rumour from Jez lol… he’s heard Microsoft are talking to a few small indie studios for acquisition, which may be announced in the next months.
Neon Giant incoming
Rand and Jez say Stein and Colts’ tweets weren’t about acquisitions
What could it be then? A new event? Uplay om Gamepass?
i heard Jez say that only about Colt’s tweet. correct if wrong
Jez said he knew about Stein and Rand said he knew what Colt was talking about.
Sorry @Mesiac too lazy for that lol something messed up with my phone when I tried. You can have a go if you wish.
Konami…
Make WB one also pls
When I keep hearing rumors about an acquisition being announced soon we won’t know shit till its announced I refuse to believe any
If this is true, this is encouraging as I don’t want MS to talk to only publishers or AAA studios.
Looking at all these photoshops I’m not sure I want any of these publishers hogging conference time.
For me Ubisoft has been pretty meh for almost a decade.
GTA/Red Dead are the only real hype parts of a Take Two acquisition. 4 out of 5 E3s would be spent on 2K sports trailers. Blegh.
Square Enix also ehhh.
Sega has enough variety and release cadence that I wouldn’t mind them.
WB Games I like best for their added variety.
Popping in just to say the Borderlands IP is now owned by Embracer
not the publishing rights. So embracer could make borderlands and not release it anywhere from my understanding.
I feel like the output from Ubisoft and Square (West) is atleast partially hamstrung by a lack of creative freedom (all ubisoft games becoming the same, forced licensed games).
Would they be able to turn things around if they (assuming they don’t) had creative freedom like other XGS studios?
Oxide seems a safe bet.
