Yep, at the time at least MS could get the current MMO, FFXI, now they are nowhere near FFXIV, lol. That imo is the biggest sign of distant positions, it’s the most profitable SE game by far, so it was FFXI at the time.

Skullzi is the only one that actually said anything on an acquisition and outside of some Starfield leaks, im not sure he knws anything, the other tweets like Warren, Nick etc might not even be related

I think we all know Phil has his eye on Bungie.
Yeah I follow him and saw this a few days ago. Marcus Lehto could definitely come back to 343 if he wants, cuz that’s where Halo is. Bungie isn’t, not anymore. Pretty unfortunate his indie venture didn’t pan out as well, but I think he could help direct something at 343 with a new team if needed while Joe continues on Infinite, much like how Marcus led Reach back in the day.
