so many incredibly low scores saying “too tough”, do not be fooled

The part about reconstruction artifacts stings a little because I want my graphics clean and as few artifacts as possible. Would you say it’s way less aggressive and noticeable at lower framerates? Because if it’s way better at 30fps, I’ll just accept that.

With reaction times mattering, I could never in good faith say 30 is okay. I do not think it looks any better in motion; it looks worse.

The woman in the pond has been kicking my ass, but I think I have managed to find a combo that will allow me to win the fight. I just need to learn her later moves.

Edit: I did it! Honglan was so freaking hard for me, I felt that my inability to memorize patterns was being kicked in the nuts.

Until it finally went, wait I know this! Enough to actually get me through. Shout out to the stars of the fight for me, Echo of Lu Hongliu and sword counter. Using them together allowed me to get in there and do large enough damage to make the fight shorter.

Overall though the Honglan fight was fantastic! So far my favorite boss even if she’s an early game boss.

This game is really good. I’m using the axe but I might switch 2 the one handed sword and use magic after beating Dhutanga.

Yeah, I’m on a roll! manage to defeat 2 bosses today in Cloudspire(that’s 3 in total I think), the monk looking guy whose a general? Liu Cheng’en and Huang Yan the empress of Cloudspire after giving her the wedding dress.

Hot damn, you’re flying along.

It’s been going well, I’m finding that Honglan was a massive step up, because even when I was getting beaten down by both Cheng’en and Yan I didn’t feel like they were that much harder than Honglan.

I think it also helps that I kept dying so much getting there, that I kept leveling up every other death. Also, the ladies of Snow Palace area are on another level compared to basic enemies, especially the ones in red.

So, a couple of days ago, I was passing by this urn with a blue glow and like other blue glowing items it was saying to do something for a reward.

Remembering how Elden Ring has emote based interactions I decided to use the water dance emote and it gave me a level up point. Going back to other locations, it gave me a unique item, and I could hear Wuchang’s sister as an audio memory was unlocked.

Edit: Just defeated Fang Ling down in the Cloudspire mines/tunnels, she was one of the bosses that was shown off to us. At first I was having some trouble with her damage, but once I got on the right gear(slash damage negation), and got more used to her moves I was getting closer and closer to winning that fight. I had completely forgotten that she has a second form until I was celebrating early, but got lucky enough to beat the second form first try because I used one of my full heals.

Still have to explore the tunnel because there was a big chest that I didn’t open.
