Wired controller vs Wireless controller on the Xbox

What are better between wired controller and the wireless controller on the Xbox?

Yours sincerely Jevgeni

I think wired controllers are suppose to have slightly better response time. But for me? It doesn’t really make a difference, as I wouldn’t notice if the wired controller has a faster response time.

I prefer going with feel of the controller, because a lot of 3rd party controllers don’t have the same shape of the Xbox controller. They tend to feel strange to use even after I get used to it.

I prefer wireless. I like the Elite V2. However the newest wireless elite from Razor, Turtle Beach or SCUF seems nice too.

Here’s some XboxEra reviews or articles related to controllers:

I use wireless controllers but they are connected to the console anyway to always have a full battery. I don’t even know if the USB connection makes the wireless controller a wired controller though.

Personally, I use a Razer wired controller. I don’t have to worry about batteries or fatigue during long Gaming sessions because it’s so light. They last a long time as well. Checking my purchase history, I just ordered a replacement on the 9th. Before that was 2020, and before that was 2016. I am happy with a good controller lasting four years considering my gaming habits.

Depends on if I’m in my chair or want to lie down really. Wireless I just use standard Xbox controller, wired I have razer wolverine v2 and 8bitdo ultimate

I use a GameSir G7 SE. The sticks are really good, and I like the two mappable back buttons.
