I haven’t even played the metroid games and I think she’s dope as fuck lol. Very iconic for sure. Also, Zero Samus, that’s all I gotta say.
Cortana, easily. Named the dog after her.
This is the way.
No joke, she is the prettiest dog ever. German Shepherd.
For me -
- Aloy (Horizon Zero Dawn)
- Kassandra (Assassin’s Creed Odyssey)
- Chloe (Uncharted: The Lost Legacy)
- Fury (Darksiders III)
- Lara Croft (Tomb Raider reboot)
- Evie (Assassin’s Creed Syndicate)
- Jill Valentine (REmake3)
- Claire Redfield (REmake2)
- Senua (Hellblade)
- Kait (Gears 5)
- Amicia (A Plague Tale: Innocence)
- Jesse (Control)
- Ellie (The Last of Us Part II)
- 2B (Nier Automata)
- Fetch (Infamous First Light)
It’s always been Lara Croft ever since I was a child. Pretty much one of the reasons I love playing video games.
No doubt, Samus Aran.
If we’re talking real women, then that list becomes quite long for me and I know I’ll forget dozens upon dozens, but here’s a few that are incredible:
- Bonnie Ross
- Kiki Wolfkill
- Amy Hennig
- Kate Raynor
- Sarah Bond
- Shannon Loftis
- Jade Raymond
- Kim Swift
- Louise O’Connor
These women, and so many more, own their roles (as diverse as they are) and bring a much-needed diversity to the industry. It cannot be overstated how many more obstacles are present systemically for women, people of color, and the LGBTQ+ community, so it’s a wonderful sight when these awesome people succeed in spite of adversity.
Agreed 100%. we were discussing similar sentiment earlier on discord. Its only a step but its wonderful to see so many getting into positions to create the change in diversity that the industry sorely needs.
