I had the bumper issues with my V2 elite and that had only ever received normal use, it lives in its case and is only used by me (to avoid kid finger gunk getting on it).

It was in warranty so had it replaced and no issues with the new one. So for me it looks more like defective components or a weak design for the mechanism that’s prone to failure.

V1 through is still in use by the kids with zero problems not even any grip peel.

Mine went a week after the 1 year warranty was up of course :neutral_face:

Not going to help if I tell you that mine went 1 week before then. My 360 on the other hand died and had to be replaced 3 months before X1 launch date, anyone looking for a barely used 360 in as new condition? :wink:
