GameFAQs way back when and the longest time just checked news sites and any posting about video games was usually on a sports forum lol. Than join reddit and followed the subs there and lurked over at restera but never created an account. Now I’m here.
Other Era, and then I started Xboxjoy before knowing of this place.
R/xboxone is the closest to a Xbox forum that I’ve been on. Only gaming forums i used were epicgamesforums (in the Gears 2 and 3 days). GTAforums and then Resetera. But i used to lurk on Neogaf for years.
In Brazil we have the PXB. A high quality Brazilian forum. I think several Brazilian members here at XboxEra are there.
Trueachievements is really the only Xbox centric forum I’ve spent any significant time on. They’re mostly a solutions/guides/achievement tracking site and maybe it’s just me but their forum seems to have slowed down a bit the last couple years. It’s still a good place for Xbox players though. Pretty nice community in my experience.
I like the Trueachievements site, really nice and informative. Their forums were always too deserted to be of much use though.

I posted heavily on the xbox section of gametrailers during the glory days. Anyone remember that site? God it was good before spike turned it into the michael pachter and geoff k circle jerk site.
Yea gametrailers was fun, great video reviews and previews.

Back in the OG Xbox days I frequented Team Xbox and one called Xbox Clubhouse.
No better place for the achievement hunter though. I think a lot of the people who kept the forums active have moved on
VGChartz.com There’s a wonderful Xbox OT there but outside is crap.
I still look at the Xbox One board on GameFAQs occasionally (though it’s basically not modded at all, so it’s about 75% PS fanboys at this point) and I’ll look at the forums on TrueAchievements’ site as needed. This is the only other actual forum on Xbox I’ve used. I do subscribe to the XboxOne subreddit as well as another one for the new systems that I mod (I’m not going to put the name here because I don’t think self-promotion is allowed).
I was on GAF and am still on ERA, but I find myself on Twitter more than anything. Have to say this UI (is that the right term) is better than any forum I’ve joined yet. Looking forward to the ride this fall!

Was on teamxbox back in the day. Never was on GAF and recently got a permaban on Era but found this place. I used trueachievements alot last gen.
Used to like TeamXbox a lot. I used to like visiting the Xbox sections of GameSpot and Gametrailers a lot too. I was on NeoGAF and I’m still on Era but as people mentioned it can be a bit of a downer there talking about things and it personally made me feel a bit toxic at times so I’m glad to have this place now. I used to also frequent some modding forums like se7ensins(for its vibrant halo modding scene) and Xbox scene(where I learned a lot of the ins and outs of making DLC content launchers, mod/hack my own games to get more features out of then). I still have so many custom Halo 2 maps that I made on my computer, but with no one to play them with haha.
None. Previous time on forums was mainly game-specific forums for PC titles, also Nintendo World Report and an old site that I think was called Nintendo Wire? (not the site that is Nintendo Wire now), and also PSP Fanboy long ago (lol, really). Then reading NeoGAF, reading/posting on Reset.
But having discovered the Xbox ecosystem this gen and seeing it turn into my primary machine, this seems like a great place to be at the moment.
I’ve frequented some forums… But my one and true forums were FUNXBOX forums… I was a editor there for a lil while before IGN bought them n shut them down just like Teamxbox website… I joined in 2000 I was like 12 or 13…untill the ending days of like 03 I think… Best time I ever had… Real Xbox fans because we were die hard even before it dropped… And working there briefly as an editor made me miss emailing devs questions for previews… Etc
Teamxbox was HUGE… I remember us at FUNXBOX forums were behind them in concurrent forums visitors in the thousands etc… All these years I have wanted to know what happened to ppl like Robot/ragnarok, mahab, focus, patience, Boyd, Xavier, etc… Damn I miss being in the Utopia section etc… If there are some ppl here from Funxbox, my name was CRACK…
