Finished the Warlords of New York expansion for The Division 2 and will play through all the seasons once Ubisoft re-rolls them tomorrow. Each season will be available for 12 weeks so I have plenty of time to play through each one. If Season One has all 5 targets available from the get go, I will play through it this weekend. If not, I will take a break until all 5 targets are available and play through the Outriders demo this weekend. I will then play Gears Tactics next weekend so I can knock it out and off my backlog. By the time I finish Gears Tactics, Outriders should be right around the corner.

Finished Dead Space 1 for the umpteen time, love that game. Currently playing Halo 5 for the first time, and I really like it this far. It’s nice to see that they brought back characters from Halo 3 ODST.

Currently playing:

  • Destiny 2
  • Control Ultimate Edition
  • Torchlight 3

Dead Space 1 and 2 are my fav games in that generation. The setting, atmosphere, gameplay and visuals are amazing. Shame that the 3rd one ended the way it did.

@RolzRavz I feel the same. Great games that still looks and plays great.

I also like the first two the best, but I think the third gets a bit too much undeserved hate. Sure its not near as good as one and two, but I still enjoy three for what it is.

I bought Battlefield 1 when it was on sale a long time ago but I simply added it to the backlog.

There was an MS rewards Gamepass weekly challenge involving it for 200pts and it got me playing it. I only need to play 1 match to finish the challenge but I’m impressed! I am now interested in checking out the campaign, but I might just keep playing multiplayer.

So whoever designed those challenges, good job.

Still have to finish Control and Man of Median (both of which started due to those Rewards challenges) but I was in the mood for Metroidvania so I started the first Ori (again, something I purchased years ago) and I’m already hooked after a half hour.

My PS4 controller still has issues and I’d have jumped into FF7 Remake if it was working. But Control, MoM, and Ori will take up most of this month for me.

I have a bad habit of doing the daily challenges in Fortnite to level up, and to collect resources in Vigor, and I’m finding those take ½ hour out of my daily gaming time (½ to 1½ hour a day). I’m gonna have to stop doing that. It’s not an addiction as much as it is routine and the feeling that I’m doing something wrong by not doing the challenges. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I rolled credits on Dirt 5’s “story mode”. It was a decent time, listened to podcasts and just zoned out. It’s such an odd duck from a technical standpoint, some things are beautiful and others look quite mediocre.

Next up is Hitman 3 and continuing my playthrough of P5: Strikers.

@anon15396042 man Im having a blast with DA Origins. Its such good bioware content that it makes me hopeful that they can make a solid game once more.

On the other hand I cant believe people are “mad” that Bioware dont gotta work on Anthem anymore and gotta focus on actual good stuff they are known for now.

:+1:

For me it’s still one of the best WRPGs around.

I really hope that part 4 is Bioware’s return to top form. In my opinion, the perfect template for their games is now in place, from both Inquisition & Andromeda. The maps don’t need to get any bigger. The only thing I’m looking for is a bit less of the fetch quest & collectathon side stuff. Cutting some of that down should allow more time to develop a main questline that’s just a bit bigger & longer. Get that balance right & they’re golden. In my opinion, anyway.

I’m properly hyped to see part 4 when it’s finally given the big reveal. Just finished my latest playthrough of the trilogy, early last year, so I’m ready & waiting. The Mass Effect remaster will tide me over until the day comes.

Since Ubisoft is re-running the seasons in The Division 2 but adding a target every three weeks, the game is on hold until all five targets become available in season one.

Was playing the Outriders demo again and while I have some complaints with it, it’s a still a day one digital purchase. Until the full game releases, im either going to play through Gears Tactics or I may go back to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and continue where I left off a month ago. Haven’t decided yet but it will be one or the other.

Do you like like looters shooters in general?

Depends on the game. I absolutely love The Division 1 & 2 with 2 being my favorite. Outriders has some issues and isn’t close to quality of The Division 2 but I think it’s a good solid game.

Also, they must be in third person because I want to see my character, prefer the camera being a little further backed out, the field of view is wider/larger and the cover system is actually a cover system instead of just “hiding” behind a wall or something.

I tried the free Destiny 2 demo and it was a no go for me. I did like Anthem amazingly but EA/BioWare fucked that up completely. Oh well.

Finished Hitman 2 as much as I am realistically likely to, including the Hitman 1 missions. I intend to pick up Hitman 3 on sale.

Went back to Ryse which I got halfway through in 2014 but never finished. Now on level 6 of 8.

I finished Hitman 3 on Friday and you’re in for a treat when you get around to it. It’s an amazing game and absolutely gorgeous to boot.

I’m still on that P5 Strikers (Switch), which has been like a warm blanket, returning to visit some old friends, etc. I think I need a smaller “palette cleanser” or two to play alongside it. Anybody have a good recommendation? Any platform.

Fixed it for you Peter buddy.

In any case I started Division 2 on Series X and Im doing co-op with my buddy on the One X and so far pretty good. Think the only thing I dont like is the excessive menus.

Haha. I think it’s on both EA and BioWare. BioWare for not being for what they once were and EA forcing them to use Frostbite and make a game in a genre that simply isn’t for them to make and in such short time. But it is what it is.

I just completed the base game, second run (you’ll eventually see why), the episodes and Warlords of New York expansion.

Ubisoft is re-running the seasons and once all the targets become available in season one, I will go back to the game to hunt them all down. Glad that you’re enjoying the game bud.

This was Bioware’s choice to make Anthem.

And yeah Division 2 gorgeous and what is better is no loading times.

I’m pretty sure that EA nudged BioWare because that’s just what EA does at least up until this point. Either way, bad idea from both EA and BioWare. Potential was there but the execution wasn’t.

Division 2 looks amazing on Series X and playing at 60FPS is so smooth. Loading times is like a few seconds at most when fast traveling from one end of the map to the other.

Excellent I am looking forward to playing 3.

Ryse is a good short game and it is on Game Pass.

Have you played Haven?

I finished Yakuza: Like A Dragon almost 3 weeks ago which was an amazing experience…great characters (Ichi is one of my favorite protagonists of all time), very good story, cool side-quests and the turn-based gameplay was so much fun. Definitely playing Yakuza 0 later this year.

After finishing Yakuza I found myself in chill out mode so I am mostly spending time with DOOM Eternal (beating a level almost daily), finding the secrets in Little Nightmares 2, Dirt 5 (beautiful and really fun racer) and replaying Streets of Rage 4 (going after achievements and trying to get better at the game). I also started Terminator Resistance which is pretty decent so far, I will finish this one until The Ancient Gods Part 2 and It Takes Two come out at the end of the month. After that I will probably start Dragon Quest 11 since I am in a mood for another JRPG after Like A Dragon.
