Went to a live concert for Eluveitie (Swiss metal band) last night, and became an immediate fan of the opening band, Seven Spires! Downloaded all of their albums in hi-rez from Qobuz and added them to my Tidal collection.
Seven Spires does a great job of melodic metal with a good balance of clean singing and metal screaming. At the concert, this was the first time my kid and I actually hesrd harmonizing of metal scream singing. It was AWESOME!

@Skedaddle is officially my source for discovering new albums, I don’t really follow the news in the music industry side of things so thanks a lot man for taking the time to post cool new songs here! 
So besides listening to NIN’s The Slip and discovering Number Girl (thanks to the awesomeness that is called Hi-Fi Rush) because Skedaddle posted Joy (really cool song btw) from Therapy?'s new album I started listening to Troublegum again after I dunno 15 years? I remember watching a million times the video of Nowhere in MTV back in the 90’s man…good times. Still such an awesome album.

Infernal Love was my introduction to Therapy? I remember buying the singles “Stories” and “Diane” before deciding I must have the album. It wasn’t until many years later that I discovered “Diane” was originally by Hüsker Dü.
Troublegum was a treat to finally listen to having previously missed out on it.

Was never into Avenged Sevenfold but this video is cool. New album out June 2nd

I saw them on the Troublegum Tour and it was great. Sadly I saw them on an anniversary tour a few years ago and they came across as quite tragic. Thanking the audience for coming to see them between every song. I could not wait for it to finish.
