Still an absolute tune.

From the song title you can obviously tell it is NSFW.

My all time favourite soundtrack is Brooks was Here from Shawshank Redemption.

I found a version of it slowed down by 800%. I just turn it on when I am working or even just relaxing.

I saw Peaches way back in 2009… found my shitty Blackberry pics recently too. One of the most interesting concerts I’ve ever been to lol.

I’m so out of touch with music. Help a guy out! I came up loving just about everything, from Dr. Dre to N’Sync to Linkin Park. Is there anything newer that I should look into? I’ve been listening to podcasts and books mainly for the past decade or so lol.

I have never been a super huge music listener but I’ve always been a hardcore Michael Jackson fan. I’ve always been able to enjoy all kinds of genres, from singer/songwriter to rock, after Cyberpunk I am even starting to appreciate the heavier stuff, haha.

Later once Cypress Hill released their IV album and their songs were included in the PC game Kingpin I became a big hiphop head.

Speaking of which, I’m going to Masta Ace live next week with a buddy of mine. Here in my city, very small venue, so we’ll be standing very close to it all. Looking forward to it. 5 years ago he was here too and I was there as well, awesome show.

For hip hop I would say:

  • Kendrick Lamar
  • Freddie Gibbs
  • Joey Badass
  • Denzel Curry
  • Vince Staples
  • J. Cole
  • Tyler the creator
  • Knxwledge
  • Little Simz

If you want to listening to something crazier:

  • Danny Brown
  • Death Grips
  • JPEGMAFIA

For the NSYNC pop part just look up the charts I guess. Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Shawn Mendes, ect. Honestly it’s pretty easy to find a playlist on almost every streaming service.

RnB:

  • HER
  • Kali Uchi
  • Kaytranada
  • Flying Lotus
  • Thundercat
  • Toro y Moi

I don’t know any other band similar to Linkin Park.

It’s actually very easy to find music that you like. Look up your favorite song and just use the radio feature.

Odd timing that, I literally just discovered they’re putting out a new album yesterday - love this song, definitely different for YYYs but they’ve grown. The world could use more Karen O.

Since playing a bit of Cyberpunk I’ve found a new kind of appreciation for a genre I really didn’t think I’d ever dig at all. But I don’t exactly know what this is called. Hopefully you guys know, because I’m on the lookout for more!

DOMi & JD Beck are a really talented jazz duo that are growing in popularity. They don’t have much out together since they’re fairly new but their first album releases next month that features artists ranging from Herbie Hancock and Kurt Rosenwinkle, to Mac DeMarco, Thundercat and even Snoop Dogg.

Really liking what im hearing from them so far. I can’t wait to hear the song they do with Kurt. Their latest song WHATUP released only a day or two ago.
