What are you currently listening to?

Found a podcast that is pretty interesting called Future Imperfect, hosted by Jason Kingsley who is the CEO of Rebellion Games (makes the Sniper Elite games and others). Kinda neat if you’re interested in discussions about fighting in wars and whether most of an army actually cared about the fight, ownership of data after death, importance of bees, etc.

Interesting guy in general, found an article interviewing him about his armor and horses and jousting.

Just heard this on the radio and it blew my mind.

The last five minutes are amazing.

I have this album on my playlist. This is the last song on the album, and it makes for a really beautiful, strong finale. It’s awesome you heard this on the radio though, I actually didn’t know it had a music video.

It has a very different kind of energy to it than Truth does, but this is probably my favorite from the album.

I have not actually seen the video but the track just builds and builds. It is great.

Holy mother of pearls man, I just got done listening to this track… my god was it amazing. That was an absolute sonic treat that hit so many of my favorite music elements: stand-up bass, meshing genres, cascading crescendos, a wide sound-stage that properly utilizes binaural imaging, etc.

Seriously, for anyone that wants to listen to this proper, as YouTube’s compression is a massive disservice, find the track on whatever Lossless streaming service you use and listen with your best headphones or stereo speakers… it’s indescribably incredible.

This is sad. Guess I’ve got some listening to do. Lots of good stuff.
