Leprous is so freaking amazing. It’s a prog metal band from Norway, the vocalist is brother-in-law to the awesome Ihsahn, and oh boy, they’re soooo genius on what they do.
If you want something to just headbang your fucking soul out of your body, just give this a spin and appreciate their geniuses:

This is another example of their amazing talent and quality. And this one has Ihsahn singing in the chorus and the second half of the song.

Found out that the THPS demo is dropping soon and saw the Billy Talent song. It’s currently my jam!

…I’ve been listening to a lot of Griselda (hip-hop group consisting of three rappers from Buffalo, New York - Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher and Conway the Machine. Most commonly heard rapping on beats from their in-house producer Daringer and acclaimed beatmakers like Alchemist, making their music have a distinctly grimy feel, drenched in bravado, crime and drug dealer imagery (I’ve never done drugs my entire life btw lol but they paint that sort of imagery really well through clever wordplay, and sinister sounding “stankface” production that it just makes you feel empowered to get shit done ).
Here are some of their songs (some are all or 2 of them together, some are tracks from the individual artists).
Boom boom boom! Griselda is my favorite group in hip hop right now.

Good timing. Needed to switch it up after finishing an album. It’s a pretty cool track. I’ve heard of massive attack before, but never got around to listening to them.

Have been listening to a lot of Post Malone lately but the last couple days I’ve been listening to

To get me ready for my workouts. I think I’m getting old because metal videos with upside down crosses everywhere are getting boring.

Deftones is teasing their new album, so that means I’ll listen their entire discography today, cuz they’re THAT good.
Love this version of Teenager.

I remember that song and Juicebox got me into The Strokes back then.
Bleeding Edge’s soundtrack, which was recently released on Spotify. Some tracks are absolute fire
Ko Bar
Neon Promises
Otherwise, for “normal” songs:
Tsukuyomi by Lena Raine, the composer of Celeste’s amazing soundtrack.
I’ve been on a real Bring Me the Horizon binge recently (especially after they released Parasite Eve).
Otherwise, been listening to the new MGK singles and occasionally my Monstercat compilations.
Nothing but Deftones for the last 3 days.
And also the new track is soooooo good
