What AAA titles should Xbox try and get on Game Pass for the First Half of 2022?

It’s been an incredibly long time since we had a bad month of game pass additions because they always add things in out of nowhere all the time like this.

Good then maybe do it with a couple of big day 1 games that dont usually fit the “fits game pass” mold and we can all be happy shutting down this thread.

Again Hitman Trilogy is a GOOD get granted people just skipped all those games entirely.

Yeah that will always be a thing with some older games. My brother last year kept hounding me about Guardians of the Galaxy but I said nah, let’s wait, let’s work on that backlog. If it’s coming to GP, fantastic, but had I already bought it, it’s nothing to me, but still great job for Xbox.

anyway what the deal with hitman IP ? who own it ? SE ? Did IOI Only buy the license for amount of years ?

Nobody knows lol

You don’t need the “granted” part, every game that isn’t new that they add in could have that added on. Adding in great one year old games (with all of their DLC, which is was 1 and 2 are essentially for 3) is simply a good addition.

It’s definitely a good addition! I think the first two, or at least one of them allready has been on the service though. Doesn’t matter, Hitman 3 is exactly the kind of games we need, like I said earlier in the thread even though people can’t read and/or construct their own versions of events.

This is not a “gotcha!” moment, I think we all agree this is part of whats needed.

This thread is built on a faulty premise because it implied that Game Pass was due for a significant drought because Xbox hadn’t announced their entire slate for the next 6 months. Games pop up on the service all the time, and a majority of games are not announced until days ot weeks before they release.

If you want to argue about day one games that are on the level of Elden Ring that’s a different story, but again we simply cannot predict the future.

this thread would be interesting when Sony announce Spartacus Vision/Plan next month.

i thought this thread built on new big Games from 3P and no new big Games from MS in next 6 months ?

lol nah it’s not going to happen but it would ignite this thread to oblivion if it happened.

The thread claims a Game Pass drought in H1 2022 when we don’t know what games are hitting Game Pass in H1 2022. It was premature to think Game Pass wouldn’t see meaningful releases when we know they many of them are not announced far in advance.

The OP says that the “drought is real” and “Game Pass needs games that aren’t co-op shooters” and now we have Hitman 1-3 a day later which is entirely predictable.

this wording is false, it is not “real”. It is possible if they don’t add things in. They always add things in, though. I’ve linked a spreadsheet to every single game ever on the service and the “they need some big games” talk is covered by the fact that they always have put big games into the service over the past 3 years.

That is why the thread exists, spun off from the STALKER 2-thread, but some people pretends it is about something else for some reason.

I can link a thread that already exists for that.

Honestly this thread should be locked.

Game Pass has a history of adding games nearly weekly and the majority of the time will not announce games until a few days or weeks before it releases. You simply cannot make a good argument that the first half of Xbox’s Game Pass slate is dry or weak because there’s no way to prove that’s the case. Ever since this forum started to complain about a “dry spell” they’ve added R6 Extraction and Hitman Trilogy.

These threads are good because they keep the main from devolving into this discussion.
