Blade definitely won the race.

But seriously, this sucks.

Microsoft gaming/Xbox should take control of studios and get to produce a marvel game

These studios are negative assets

This really does feel like they are cutting fat to try and position themselves for an acquisition to me. Honestly the biggest shock here is rocksteady not being shut down in my opinion

Didn’t these people make Shadow of Mordor and War?

They also made the amazing Condemned.

Yes, and now they’re gone.

Industry continues to struggle. I hope those laid off are able to to find new employment.

Also F.E.A.R., this really sucks.

I was out of town last week and somehow missed this news until today. This really really sucks. I wasn’t a huge fan of Monolith’s previous games but Wonder Woman is one of my favorite DC characters and I was excited about that game.

It’s an absolutely unreal level of mismanagement that WB can go from huge hits like Shadow of Mordor and Batman Arkham and then have those studios go years without releasing games and finally get closed down. And the one game you do actually release after years and years is an insane bomb that no one asked for and any gamer off the street could have predicted would bomb.

If you purposely set out to take successful studios and ruin them, I don’t think you could have done better.

I just hope NetherRealm and Rocksteady aren’t next.

Neatherrealm won’t, they are too valuable thanks to mortal kombat. If WB were considering closing them they would just sell them off

NR will be fine. Rocksteady might get hit with layoff but they will be around for the sake of their DC push.
