There’s a funny story about Mon-Yu at #20 there. It’s a niche DRPG that for some reason Experience Inc ran a 98% off campaign on making it cost 100 yen.

Aksys is bringing that title West this year for a cool $60 and I can’t help but laugh because Experience has hilariously devalued the game.

Series S is actually in stock everywhere in Japan for months now so until more interesting software comes out I think the demand has been reached.

it makes perfect sense, ms doesn’t have the content to be sending boatloads of series x consoles to japan. this will change though.

They do but I’m also interested to see the performance of Starfield there. If it even charts in the Famitsu top 30 then that’s a massive W lol (it doesn’t HAVE to do this to be considered a success there, but it would be nice to see an Xbox game up there again, I guess the problem is that there isn’t much Series X there though.)

If they ever do Forza Horizon 6 Japan then that would probably be the most popular XGS game by far there. FH is one of the only Xbox games I see JP tweets about outside of the sphere of the small Xbox JP fan base tweets. Even a few of my favorite JP artists I follow are hardcore Forza fans lol.
