One thing that I’ve noticed in the recent months is that I’ve been playing much more than before, and I think this is mostly due to all the quality of life improvements brought by the Series X that just make me more motivated to play, namely:

  • reduced loading speeds due to SSD;
  • Quick Resume is a blessing to get in/get out of games;
  • 60fps across the board.

All these factors coupled with a vast, vast catalogue of Game Pass games I can never hope to finish means this has been my favorite time in gaming ever. Every day I am excited to continue playing on this incredible machine. Finishing a game on Game Pass means getting excited for the mystery of what incredible game comes next. What a wonderful time to have this hobby! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Game on :sunglasses:

As of today, the Xbox Series consoles have an impressive amount of 142 optimized games, just six months after its release. For comparison, the Xbox One had only seen 42 titles become available during its initial six months of life.

Doesn’t matter if it’s Xbox or PlayStation, timed exclusive demos are dumb :man_shrugging:

At least the demo will be available on PlayStation a whole month before the game’s release date. What happened with Resident Evil was borderline disrespectful

I hadn’t paid a ton of attention to this game (Hood Outlaws and Legends, didn’t realize the quote would cut that) other than thinking it might be interesting, hadn’t realized it seems to be a multiplayer only. Team versus team versus enemy. Cool for some, but not really my thing.

Yeah, not really my thing aswell – which is a shame, because I love Sumo Digital.

Same. Very talented group.

Remnant: From the Ashes received a “next-gen patch” today, but just like Jedi Fallen Order and Hot Pursuit Remastered, it is still an Xbox One game.

Can’t seem to find a proper list of Dolby Vision Xbox games anywhere. Dolby website is not very informative, it shows some thumbnails, but no list.

Dolby Vision is still on Alpha Testing, so there’s a lot of bugs and miscommunication. Very few games officially support Dolby Vision, but it seems that the system is forcing Dolby Vision into all HDR-compatible games – just like very few games officially supports Dolby Atmos, and yet most of the games can take advantage of that.

There are many, many bugs atm though. Problem with screenshots, 120hz displays and so on. If I’m not mistaken the feature is currently being tested on a June build, so don’t expect a full release before E3.

What if…

I don’t know, somehow this thread became a page on XboxEra’s website?

It would be nice, wouldn’t it?

That would be pretty nice.

I remember i tried to do something similar on another forum back when the Xbox One launched, man was it time consuming. So top job for keeping it up to date.
