Bought this game yesterday and the graphics are shockingly good, might be the best looking videogame I have ever seen. Worth the 29$ for the graphics alone.

I played this on an One X back at launch and I had already found it to be stupidly gorgeous! The story is also really nice. It’s a very good game if you ignore the post-game grinding and stuff.

My one complaint about it was that I couldn’t stand fighting any more robots after 50 hours.

In quality mode on the series x it is basically like playing a CGI game.

Releases Update | March 23, 2021

The following Series X|S game was released today:

Hunting Simulator 2 ($49.99)
Developer: Neopica
Publisher: Nacon
Genre: Shooter; Simulation
Size: 14.63 GB
Tags: 4K Ultra HD; HDR; 60 FPS

Nacon has published so far 5 games optimized for the Series X|S, and only one of them supports Smart Delivery (WRC 9).

With that said, don’t expect the next-gen version of Greedfall to support Smart Delivery, nor Spiders’ upcoming game, Steelrising.

GreedFall was published by Focus Home Interactive and I have no idea if they own the IP or Nacon.

As for Steel Rising, it’s a PC and current generation only game so Smart Delivery simply doesn’t apply.

It still could, if they opted to package different textures for Series S versus Series X (smaller size on the S), or if they use more extensive BCPack for console version versus PC version (smaller size on Series Console versus PC).

Oh wow. Didn’t know this. If true, then I guess Smart Delivery would apply. I always just see it connected to Xbox One/Xbox Series games as opposed to only Xbox Series games.

I’d love to know how many copies these kinds of games sell?

Wow, it’s been so long since Steelrising was announced that I completely forgot it was current-gen only!

And you are right about Greedfall. Yesterday a Gold Edition was rated in Australia and it lists Focus Home as the publisher still.

I’ve seen many publishers ā€œoptimizingā€ their games for the Series X|S just to receive extra visibility and sell a few more copies. 25% of all the Series X|S games cost less than $10 and most of them aren’t really that optimized.

Ratalaika is the worst offender being the publisher of 10 Series X|S games with easy achievements, which also help sell a few more copies.

I really enjoyed GreedFall. I didn’t like Bound by Flame or The Technomancer but Spiders did a great job with GreedFall. The skill/attribute/talents are the best I have seen in any game simply because you can’t max them out. You must make decisions that suit your character(s) and play style. If anything, it’s underrated.
