Music is so damn important in games, I would say it’s really just as important as all the other aspects of a good game. It can really set the tone in a horror game or a emotional scene. Or of course the super awesome happy (most of the time) tunes in Mario games.

But I’m always a sucker for music that really hits you, can actually give me goosebumps.

The Skellege theme from Witcher 3 was fantastic, some of the best environment setting music I’ve experienced. I don’t remember the name of the track, but it has a woman singing faintly in parts.

I know I play the Witcher 3 soundtracks daily while working. Also I absolutely love Hearts of Stone Sountrack. Always brings chills up my spine, I can say the same about Blood and Wine. I mean this games is a masterpiece from top to bottom.
