I guess “Oh Shit” is Okami 2 being done by original creator with original studio name, which is like Eric Bischoff entering WWE moment.
It was heavily implied that the “Oh Shit” moments were all related to Sony; there were quite a few of them in my opinion, just not if that’s what you were expecting.
Onimusha, Turok, Okami, Virtua Fighter, RGG’s new game, Outer Worlds 2 Release Date reveal, Ueda’s new game, and I’m sure I’m missing one or two others, but they were all that kind of impact for me.
I was hyped when I saw a trailer up for a new Turok. Then I watched it and any excitement I had died. None of what I saw is what I want out of a new Turok.
I’m trying to wait and see what the gameplay is actually going to be good, I think on rewatch I’ll probably feel the same… was just more of a shock to even see Turok in the running for revival.
Yeah, in my brain I was just always holding out hope for a bit of a relaunch into the vibes of the first game. A horror-tinged, jungle based, FPS about hunting Dinos.
Third person was the first disappointment and then the leaning into the Sci-Fi was the second. Ill still give it a fair shake, right now some amount of the disappointment is likely the disconnect of what I wanted vs what it is.
Is it confirmed to be third-person or was it just for the trailer? If so, that will greatly suck… I’ve been going through the series on XSX again and I’ve always loved the atmosphere of dread in the first three. Hell, I even liked Rage Wars, for what it was, but if the new one isn’t remotely like any of the above, I’ll be a sad panda…
Cant say for sure. But the trailer only showed third person, so I imagine that probably seals the deal.
Yeah, they was a few, the new game from SEGA was a moment too.
I’m very surprised with the Outer World 2 date too. Xbox Game pass is going to be even more amazing in 2025
