The Game Awards 2022 | OT?

Almost everyone here is expressing disappointment, some are just choosing to be extreme, troll, and dismiss everything else including literal facts

TGA is pretty much the last thing of the year. So we are going into 2023 with 2 major games that were supposed to already be out coming eventually in the year. The majority of the titles shown in their first big event with Bethesda haven’t been heard from in years etc.

I and many others were hoping for literally anything to end the year on some excitement for Xbox. Is that too much to ask?

I’m glad you’re giving my daily dose of gamepass advertisment.

Elden Ring is a truly astonishing game. I got 1000gs on Xbox. Would have been gutted if it didn’t win (I’d have got over it eventually if it was Powerwash Simulator).

I don’t even know who you are just interact with you today since all you seem to do is shit on Xbox on a Xbox Forum weird.

Amazing how the ABK manouvre and Sony skipping E3 has motivated the trolls to weaponise the VGAs.

You haven’t answered my question.

What bona fides do you require?

It’s not too much to ask, but acting like its a big deal because it didn’t happen is the questionable behavior. Everyone should be disappointed at their lack of presence, but that doesn’t suddenly mean that Redfall, Starfield, Minecraft Legends, Forza, and Ara are no longer coming out in H1 2023.

LOL it was worth it funny

Normally I wouldn’t care if Microsoft didn’t show up to the TGAs ( and I don’t think most people would) but it’s the fact that all their games next year are not dated and we had nothing this year in terms of AAA so people are frustrated.

Anyway, elden ring was by far the best game this year.

Incredibly deserved for a masterpiece.

I 1000/1000’d Elden Ring, I had to force myself to finish God of War.

I am happy with the results.

Nothing to defend for Xbox IMO. They need to stop ghosting us. This is just one reason why Xbox market share is so weak, they hardly try to get brand excitement and awareness out. Is Starfield’s new release date really gonna be an Xbox Wire announcement? Even Nintendo tossed in that Bayonetta thing to have -something- to announce.

Sorry, that’s just my honest opinion. My guess is we don’t hear from Xbox again till June.

I get being disappointed, but I really enjoyed my time.

I had some sort of hope that Xbox would show up but considering how much of a disaster the year went for them, I didn’t hold any too high expectations. We know theres games coming next year, no need to doom and gloom.

Disappointing but it isn’t the end of the world.
