Now let’s see if it’s indeed releasing this week too or later in the year.
it will be hilarious if it’s later this year and all the insiders were wrong
Oh I can see it. And I’d be fine with that too, but I’d be very fine with it dropping this week too.
Not sure whether to hope for a shadow drop or not
Looking forward to playing it but I have so many games on my plate right now.
If it does release this week, two RPGs in one week is crazy.
I’ll say it releases in mid to late June.
call me crazy but i would not be surprised if it does not launch into gamepass (at least not right away), heres my random reasoning:
-Phil Spencer’s recent comments about how gamepass is not for everyone and they wouldnt mind if people went back to buying games as they did before
-games like Outer Worlds 1 Spacers Choice and Skyrim Anniversary not being on gamepass, just the older versions
-Clair Obscur releasing on the 24th, makes no sense to promote that game and then kneecap it by releasing Oblivion remaster 2 days earlier on gamepass, if its a full price title only then at least you will get price-conscious people to play Clair Obscur now on gamepass and then Oblivion later when they have time/money
-and then there is so much hype for this game that people will most likely be willing to shell out $60-80 and MS love that money
anyways thats my random reasoning that may or not make sense and im ready for them to shadowdrop it for gamepass tommorow after the stream, lol
You’re crazy. Not gonna happen.
Nah.
Also, didn’t one of the leaked materials thingies say straight into Game Pass? There is no reason for a Bethesda game, a company they own to be excluded from their service.
Anniversary edition is basically Deluxe edition of the game, Special Edition which is base Xbox One edition is still selling and is in GP and you can buy Anniversary update for it just like most recent releases that had Deluxe upgrade pack that is not in GP.
OW1 is under another publisher, and so is Spacer’s Choice. It would cost MS money to have it in GP, like it does for We Happy Few and Private Division is either asking for too much or not asking at all.
Phil Spencer’s comments were based on a leading question about people who only buy 1 or 2 games a year, and no it would launch directly into Game Pass.
So, two more hours until we find out when exactly we’ll be playing Oblivion?
Hype is through the roof. Great start to the show.
Installable on Xbox right now. May need to search for it manually.
Looks incredible. Home run!
This isn’t a remaster.
I see this as a remake.
They did it !! They fuckkkng did it ! They released it just like that… IN-SA-NE !!
So awesome.
I wish those cursed insiders realized what an amazing surprise they have spoiled. Simply because they couldn’t stfu, it’s a shame.
But other than that, amazing.
Preach!
It absolutely is a remake in every sense of the word; not the first time Xbox has downplayed what’s absolutely a full remake lol. These kinds of rereleases certainly make certain parties, that like to rerelease games with barely any improvements, look very silly…
