I’d like to think he’s just laughing at how the community is completely melting down, but while this is a hobby for all of us it’s his job and quite frankly everyone is just making it more difficult.
I’m loling at people calling the cancelled physical games a sign that Xbox is leaving gaming and not simply that the Series X is going to be all digital.

Why not just release a full statement now? You know how it is with Xbox. Any rumors spreads like wildfire, True or not don’t matter. It gets clicks so anyone and everyone will post about it so it keep spreading. Whatever happens, Happen. I’m prepare for anything, but they letting this go unanswered for long is not good for the remaining Xbox fans. If anyone looking to buy a Xbox see what is going on now. No way in hell they are buying a Xbox with every wild things going on.
If they are planning to make a video next week to address things i can see why they wait. if they just make a text statement? Might as well just tweet it out. It would be faster and put out any fake flame that is going on.

Same for gamingleaks&rumors. Every single shit concerning xbox/MS currently is allowed to be posted there withouth the slightest of scrutinity and since gamer’s IQ is an all time low noone there stops to question and verify the source of said rumors. Its like critical thinking was throw out of the window.
For example: a lot of users there wanted Colteast and the likes to be banned as a source of rumors because people have noticed he has been wrong plenty of times in the past. Now? Every single thing he and his pals have said these days is taken withouth doubt.

If there was any truth to Xbox games not being exclusive anymore, the best scenario is after all the blowback Microsoft doesn’t bring their games to PS5.
I bought the Xbox Series X, because there are more exclusives, I like on Xbox over PS5 and having Xbox be the home for Bethesda games is why I made that purchase. So, fingers crossed, and I hope for the best.

I think perhaps some wires have been crossed and they are only porting select games, to allow some gamers to still get a physical copy of certain things.

I’d be worried if he was laughing at what is currently happening because none of it is good for the brand… and if these rumors weren’t real at all, if they had no merit at all, they would’ve said so already even if they have some sort of thing next week where they will talk about this new strategy.

But of course, all of their trips to Japan were not to court 3rs parties but obviously to coordinate a maximum of ports to Switch 2 for launch so that MS can be the number 1 publisher on Nintendo’s platform. It’s not enough for MS to be the number 1 publisher on XBox, they have to be number 1 on all platforms!
