For some reason my status keeps getting set to On Holiday even after I’ve deleted the status. Seems like quite a few other users on the site have the same status.

Ditto. Since it comes back even if you delete it, I just tried changing it to “Not on holiday” and a shrugging emoticon. Time will tell if that will stick, or if it’ll get changed back.
Mine did this last month for Thanksgiving in the U.S. I personally don’t mind it and think it’s kinda nice (even though we don’t use the phrase “On Holiday” over here lol). But I understand why others wouldn’t like it.

Looks like the issue is back. There must be a vacation calendar built into discourse. It seems like its triggered my the stat Holiday.
I’ve only just started getting this status issue, keeps setting as On Holiday and if i delete the status it goes away momentarily before returning to On Holiday.
Yeah, it’s an experimental feature that is clearly having some issues on Discourse’s end. I’ve disabled it for now.
