Yeah, true. Both FM and Starfield arenāt making the first half. Itās best to just do away altogether with that because as we can see we both these gamesā¦you never know what can happen!
Did the gameplay look 60fps to anyone?
It looked very smooth, but I think these are all PCs still probably. I do not expect this game in 60fps on XSX. But never say never I guess, maybe this delay is also because they want a performance mode.
Hook it into my veins, so hype about this game.
Game looks much smoother than last year. Gun animation quality has jumped.
True. It just makes it easier if the game isnāt released yet because then, thereās no choice to make. lol
September for Starfield sounds like perfect. Very few blockbusters planned for the 2nd half of the year, especially on PC and Steam. And the game is already #1 on Steam wishlist with no marketing and 6 months to go until September 6.
Plus this will give more polish for the GOTY discussion (no doubt BGS is aiming for that).
Just make sure to finish anything you wanted to finish from now until September 6. I sure will.
Gonna be finishing small and big games, I will make sure to get Hogwarts one of these days too because thereās no way I will care for that when I have a brand new BGS game.
Looks really good, glad they are taking their time, I donāt think Iāve ever played a āPolishedā Bethesda game so looking forward to this.
Now to address some stupid people around the internet
-
We are still eeking out of a 3 year global pandemic, most games that were in production during this time had delays
-
If you talk about not wanting Devās to crunch then you should also not complain about game delays
*If you get pissed off at broken games on Day one like Cyberpunk you should not complain about game delays
*Xbox has a stacked first party and second party lineup this year, itās not 2022, weāve already gotten more this year then last year
I like that MS can give these devs extra time if needed, Gamepass and the number of studios they have means no one studio has to suffer crunch and releasing broken day one games. This is a good thing gamers need to stop fucking complaining all the time about stuff then complain about devs listening to their original complaints.
This came out the blue today. Watched it about 10 times already. Canāt wait till June to get a good look at it
GOTY guaranteed!
I was expecting to play it a bit sooner, so I hope they are confident about that date and wonāt delay it further.
I love that the guys are casually playing the game behind Todd. I really like that kind of confidence and mood at the studio.
Gameplay looks like a Bethesda game but with a lot more depth and freedom it seems. Seeing many different environments here with lush forests and large desert areas with big creatures roaming around you. The game looks like it will be massive in terms of scale and scope.
Launch day canāt come soon enough !
Gotta get them clicks
I got tired of these rage bait videos long ago so anyone trying them get put on ignore asap, it will make your youtube browsing so much more enjoyable
Why even share it here⦠Why spread the word in any form?
Maybe some people are mad or acting that way because they really believed in the first half. I didnāt watch the videos, not going to either because I do not appreciate DCG, barely know RGTā¦butā¦
As much as I like Todd, he did double down at least three times about 11-11-22 and sort of scoffed at the interviewer if he was sure about this date. 2022, delayed.
Then that E3 he said they were putting the finishing touches on the game. And we were told it would release in the first half.
Delayed to September. Now I realize very well that game development changes all the time, and they may indeed have been putting the finishing touches on it but something unexpected happened.
but the big difference is that those Sony games didnāt have a studio boss making āpromisesā like that. When he says such things it does build up expectations and excitement.
Long story short, it would not be a bad thing if Todd in the future eases down a little with these things.
