Yeah I’ve been exploring outside NA all evening and found some cool stuff.
I saw this Ecliptic spaceship just chilling there, near a farm building thingy.
I just love this kinda stuff. And I was able to enter. To my surprise it let me climb a ladder inside. Remember before the game was out people started to speculate if we could finally climb ladders? So that’s cool, haha. Ship contained plenty of food, so finders, keepers!
At the cockpit were several Ecliptic dudes and they didn’t take kindly to me visiting. I tried to pilot their ship but it said I wasn’t authorised to pilot it. Damn it. I wonder if this message goes away if I progress a but further into the story. And that we CAN pilot it then.
Also found some alien genetic material which stats wise is pretty impressive.
Yes sir. But the farm was actually empty, just some items and the Ecliptic spaceship, no idea what they were doing there.
It’s the electrical substation that had about four robots protecting it. They put up a good fight. Oh and yes, the ammo you mentioned that’s what Vasco uses indeed. It seems he does run out of ammo then. Hopefully not too fast.
The audio can be so damn good. I’m hearing spaceships landing and taking off and with surround sound it’s a joy to experience. Guns at times can sound a bit weak I’ve noticed though.
Did you kill everyone? I’ve definitely stolen ships I’ve found on planets, not just ones I’ve boarded in space, but it’s always involved me killing everyone first.
You need to run a line from your ship for like 40 minutes for them to appear. The game is very obviously designed so that doesn’t happen in any normal play, just by people experimenting and stress testing the game. But I think that’s the reason there’s no atmospheric flight or any vehicles.
Yes, plus the general wear and tear and look of each material he is made out of.
I like his summary on whether we should be here or not in a certain location, and proving him wrong sometimes.
Yes, but not every planet. Basically, you can land on any area that’s actually land. Gas Giants you can’t land at all, and in some rocky planets, they can have huge bodies of water and on those you can’t land, but everyplace else in the planet you can.
