I played the first hour/intro of the game. It’s harder and harder to be impressed by Ubisoft games, let’s be honest, so it may feel a bit too familiar but they once again nailed the atmosphere, gameplay and look as it is undeniably a stunning game.

Well it looks like another ‘wait for sale/gamepass’ game from Ubi. Was hoping for more, but oh well.
I’ve been parsing through a few reviews, and 7-8 is not a bad score. It’s not a bad game. But the question I ask for me, personally, is it worth $70? When there’s so much else to play out there… I don’t think so. This is going to be a grab it on sale kind of game.
Can always spend the $18 to run through it in a month then run through some other titles too from Ubi+ service.

Good news! Game works in the public build for me on PC, review build still broken. I’ll try and finish in the next few weeks for a final score (really busy)

I saw a clip of AI doing absolutely fuck all when they saw the enemy.
The usual folks last year liked to mock Starfield AI and what not, but it was never nearly as bad as this. I am guessing Ubi will patch that.
Still loving this game, definitely going to be in my game of the year discussion/ top ten. Ubisoft really got the world right. 10/10.

I’m gonna read/watch your review when I have a few hours into it myself. A friend of mine brought his XSX with the game last weekend on our trip and it seems to have a slow start, ala RDR2 and many other games. I really don’t mind a slow burn start at all.
Definitely very curious how the overall experience is.

I have found it to be a pretty average game. Some stuff pisses me off like stealth ‘search’ (not always obvious where you’re supposed to go) areas without checkpoints. I’m also not a huge fan of stealth, so take that for what you want lol.
I’m only like 5 hours in, so still have to unlock a ton of abilities and probably too early to really judge. Haven’t even been into space. My friend and I both thought it’s a 7/10 game and he bumped it to a 9/10 cuz he’s a Star Wars fan that knows the lore and everything much better than I do. Which I guess means it’s a pretty successful adaption.

So far so good here. But I can definitely see it becoming annoying, too much stealth. A good balance between shootouts and stealth is ideal.
Not happy with the HDR, it immediately stood out that the black levels are raised. I do like the highlights such as light sources but the washed out black levels is just such a bummer.
I’ll try SDR tomorrow.
