Watching you stream it has actually sold me more on it than the review lol. As you said, itā€™s a vibe game, I like the vibes, and I donā€™t mind the intended ā€œimmersiveā€ experience but with the technical issues Iā€™m gonna wait for it get better.

Anyone having stick drift issues with the game? I have an elite 2 that does not have any drift issues in any other game but for Stalker 2 when moving around and stopping quite often the camera will continue panning. Iā€™ve tried lowering the control sensitivity but it still does it.

Very jarring as it makes the game difficult to control

I think Iā€™m a month or two this game is gonna be solid. Sucks they released it as is but like other stalkers games I feel like itā€™s gonna have a good fan base

Yes, I noted it in the review. The gameā€™s deadzone settings are too low.

Any good way to fix it? In game or with a custom elite 2 profile?

I got the first little settlement, and did a few side missions. It definitely has wonkiness but it runs pretty well on my X, and the atmosphere when I came out of a building to a dusk storm, the leaves flying in the air and everyone around me basically telling me ā€˜if youā€™re no trouble, weā€™re no trouble, youā€™re on your ownā€™ was an atmosphere bomb. So excited to dig into more - and christ there feels like a LOT to dig into.

Started playing it last night, about 3 hours in. Is the game supposed to be this dark? I can barely see in front of myself at night even with the flashlight on. Just asking if everyone has it the same or I just need to calibrate my HDR.

Itā€™s supposed to be dark so you only see in front of you with the flashlight on in the intro mission.

I put the default -4 HDR setting at 0 because it wa sbothering me and I think itā€™s fine like that.

Flashlight is always on in interiors.

Edit : standard settings seems to be perfect. Donā€™t touch the -4. Gamma doesnā€™t change anything. You can go as high as 60 on HDR birghtness.

The default brightness settings were my biggest issue with the game.

So enjoying it so far and the atmosphere of the game is remarkable. Close to being my game of the year 2024

I can see so many casual players thinking it is more like CoD, or Metro. Itā€™s way more Metro than CoD of course but even then.

I saw some people say this is launch Cyberpunk 2077 technical issues, is this true?

Not in my hour of play, not at all. It runs far smoother than that, and Iā€™ve not seen any glitches yet. Main visual issue is pop in.

So has anyone been able to mitigate the stick drift issues on the Xbox version? I still find it pretty annoying.
