Ffxiv is a live service mmo. Not the same type of game.
Might have to get a ps5 for kh4 due to shitty pc ports and egs exclusivity. Fuck Sony.

Id be shocked if kh4 doesnt come to xbox. Too big of a game not to and disney will have a massive say.

P6 is 100 percent coming to xbox. Question is it day 1. Or day 365 Who knows.
If KH4 is exclusive. Theres going to be questions asked about that.

Context, I made an error, but I was obviously referring to FFXV.
KH4 is coming to Xbox simply because Disney decides what platforms that game releases on.
Which means if Sony moneyhat KH4, it’s not coming to Xbox. Example A of a Disney IP: Kotor.
Microsoft should just buy square and cut a deal to keep all the games multiplat lol.
KOTOR is not the huge IP you guys think it is, and paying for exclusivity for KH4 would be much more expensive because Xbox is obviously interested in keeping the game on Xbox whereas KOTOR is a long dormant series.

Final Fantasy is a expensive IP and got moneyhatted. Kingdom Hearts has a much smaller fanbase than FF especially in Xbox. Why should Disney turned down an attractive offer by Sony ?
Square don’t have a single new release for Xbox in 2023. The Pixel collection is skipping Xbox for no reason. Tell me, how can we be positive in regards to Square?

I think KH will be a special case thanks to Disney, it’s their IP and they are smart enough to know it needs a wide appeal or will stagnate.
That said, I understand the negativity. I don’t see how anyone could be positive about anything SE related at the minute - it’s a safe bet to assume they have no announced games for Xbox in 2023 because they aren’t releasing any more games on Xbox (outside limited exceptions like KH perhaps). The situation is literally that bad.
Final Fantasy is an IP that Sony seems to intend on doing everything possible to keep it associated with the Playstation brand. I don’t think KH has nearly the importance to them.
I do believe Speshal Nick’s rumor that OT2 is coming to Xbox. Though I won’t be replaying it or starting over there, too time consuming. Also with the release quantity Square does and how soon they release after reveal I do think there will be an odd JP release from them on Xbox this year (will it be good, I don’t know lol)
Kotor has been confirmed timed exclusive. At best. Kh4 is that.
Of course itbwill eventually come to xbox. Its easier for them to get that gamrpass cheque later.
