I played Death Stranding on Game Pass, i will play FF7 Remake on Game Pass. Life finds a way

FF7R i believe has the Xbox Console Exclusion deal, so it probably will never make it to an Xbox console unfortunately.
Not sure about that. Kingdom Hearts is not controlled by Square Enix. Disney has the rights and controls where the game goes.
Similarily, Dragon Quest is not controlled by Square Enix.

KH4 being excluisve would dumb as hell. Especially this gen. Disney wont be stupid enough to take that moneyhat and if they do it would have to be significantly bigger than any FF deal.

Right, after releasing the entire saga on Xbox it would be crazy for Disney to miss the fourth chapter. Hope it won’t be temporary exclusive on PS5 or so!
Can’t wait until MS makes a lot of the big Activision and Blizzard franchises exclusive to Xbox. That’s going to have an even bigger impact imo than what Sony is doing and it’s time MS starts playing dirty.
The fact theyve openly tried to give cod to everything suggests to me they dont give a shit about cod exclusivty.

Sort of related but we’re now approaching 1 year since that period where like 300 insiders said Sony is acquiring Square Enix shortly.
I have to wonder if they were just throwing out an uneducated guess so that if it happened they’d look like “major” insiders?
I wouldn’t be surprised if we see it again this year. “I’ll be right eventually!”

SE may as well dissolve at this point and sell all of their studios.
Yeah I’m totally willing to give the benefit of the doubt on this sort of thing since these deals can take years to actually bear fruit, but it really seems that acquisitions don’t leak and it’s best to disregard any scuttlebutt about those.
Sony acquiring SE would hurt Nintendo more than it would Microsoft. They hardly support Xbox as is.
Not that I really think it is going to happen either way.

It could be that Sony is planning on acquiring SE but won’t actually announce anything until ATVI+MS deal concludes.
Sony is a public company. They can’t just not sit on capital and not tell shareholders their intentions.

Yes, but investigating and talks are not intent. They can hold on taking any actual intent to purchase for as long as needed.
