From my understanding, Starfield is gonna be single-player, as well as Hellblade 2 or Avowed for example.
Yes I know they’re coming, I expect Perfect Dark to be SP as well. But the optics are undeniably odd. You are in need of more Single Player titles, you get generally SP focused studio to work with you (Ninja Theory, Obsidian, Arkane, Avalanche) and the first thing they come out with is a MP/Co-op game.
Contraband has a single-player campaign and Redfall can be played solo and has a rich campaign, just so you know.

This was the hardest E3 tbh of the Phil era with all the expectations/things happening. We should be in cruise control the rest ot the gen baby HERE WE GO.

I think they will have a balance for everybody, and well the majority seem to agree the future is very bright.
Not like Xbox is forcing these studios to do these things and fuck the optics of what people want which is to be an exact carbon copy of Sony. I appreciate the diversity at xbox.

I think Xbox need to buy the Maker of Stalker 2 or at least have it be a full console exclusive cause that game looks like it will be a massive hit it actually has the most views out of all the game shown from the showcase.

Finally got to watch. Really excellent show. Especially when you consider the last year that everyone went through. I’m sitting at either an 8/10 or 9/10 personally.
- Positives Halo multiplayer looks amazing. I can’t wait to spend way to many hours in that game. Gamepass, jeez there is a ton of games I’m going to play on my series x this year. What a fantastic lineup of day 1 titles. Forza Horizon looks absolutely incredible. Can’t wait for Plague Tale. I lived the first so much and it’s on game pass! The JRPG that I can’t spell, that game looks awesome and right up my alley. Redfall(What a cool name) looks great. Loved Psychonauts. In fact there wasn’t much I saw that I thought eh no thanks.
Negatives. Starfield/Contraband trailers. I’m not knocking them because they where CG/ in engine. I’m knocking them because they weren’t good. I learned pretty much nothing about them. If you want to do that type of trailer right see A Plague Tale or Redfall. At least Outer Worlds was hilarious.
I’m not really deducting anything from this but I really thought we’d get a Tales of Arise Gamepass announcement so that was a bumme

I think for the sake of “diversity” they should at least have ONE of these Sony-style games because clearly people enjoy them and it would be a sure way to get people to Game Pass. It can’t be that diversity is everything except that one popular genre. Maybe it will be Fable, or PD, or something unknown today, but there should be something at least.
