Literally zero people should be surprised. It’s Ninja Theory lol

I would personally rather DD stay first party only. It’s part of why last year was so successful. They’ve got the Partner Preview now and various other avenues for third party/indie games.

Yeah maybe.

They would benefit from having a marketing beat every month. Something like:

  • January - Developer Direct 1 - deeper dive on 1st party

  • February - Partner Preview 1 - deeper dive on third parties

  • March - ID@Xbox

  • April - Gamepass show - 1st and third party games talk

  • May - SOMETHING ELSE!

  • June - Summer Showcase

  • July - Gamepass show - 1st and third party games talk.

  • August - Gamescom/Quakecon

  • September - Partner Preview 2 - deeper dive on third parties

  • October - Developer Direct 2 - deeper dives on games shown at showcase

  • November - Blizzcon

  • December - ID@Xbox/TGAs

Game releases also count as marketing beats, for the months where there is no event.
